How to add your first song

Songs in Harmny are audio recordings of a part, usually the rehearsal tracks your conductor sends you. Here's how to add one.

1. Have the file ready

Harmny takes MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC and OGG files. If your conductor sent them by email or WhatsApp, save them to your phone or computer first.

2. Add it

  1. Open Library from the bottom bar.
  2. Tap Add a song.
  3. Pick one or more files.

3. Check the details

Give each song a title, and the composer if you know it. Set the voice part the recording is for (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass or All parts), so Harmny can put your part first. Then tap the Add button.

4. Play it

The song now appears in Library. Tap it to play, or open its ⋮ menu to practise it slowly, add it to a playlist, edit its details or delete it. See Your library.

For conductors

To give singers the songs for a rehearsal, put them in a playlist, then pick that playlist for the rehearsal. See Pick the songs for a rehearsal.
