About Harmny

Learn your part at home. Arrive ready.

Most choirs still learn music the way they always have. The conductor sends a recording, singers run it a few times at home, then everyone meets on Thursday. Harmny is built to make that middle bit easier.

Choir members singing together in a sunlit church

The problem

  • Part recordings arrive by email, WhatsApp and memory stick, and half of them go missing.
  • Singers aren't sure which songs are for this week, so they practise the wrong ones or none.
  • Conductors can't tell who has learned what until the room goes quiet at bar twelve.

What Harmny does

For singers

  • Your songs for the next rehearsal, on one screen, with your part ready to play.
  • Slow a song down without changing the pitch, loop the hard bit, and keep a metronome going.
  • Download songs to your phone so they play with no signal.
  • Mark each song New, Learning or Ready, so you know where you stand.

For conductors

  • Pick the songs for each rehearsal once, and every singer in the group sees them.
  • See how ready each section is before you walk in, without asking anyone to report back.
  • Share a playlist with a link, and send a note to the whole choir.

What you can count on

Names, not email addresses
Singers in a group see each other by name only.
Your recordings stay yours
Songs you add are private to you unless you share them.

Made in Dublin

Harmny is a small, independent app made in Dublin, Ireland. It's still growing, and it gets better when choirs tell us what's missing or confusing.
