There are two ways to play a song, and both use the same player, so the music keeps going when you move between screens.
Tap a song
Tap any song on the Rehearse screen or in Library and it starts playing. The songs after it play in order. A small moving marker shows which song is playing.
Use the round amber button
The button in the middle of the bottom bar plays and pauses from any screen. If nothing is loaded yet, it plays your part from the next rehearsal's songs, or your own songs if there's no rehearsal.
The full player
On the Rehearse screen, tap Open the full player to get:
- a waveform you can tap or drag to jump to any point
- previous and next song buttons
- a volume control
- Repeat song and Repeat list
- Show practice tools, for speed, loops and more. See Slow down, loop and use the metronome.
With the screen off
Music keeps playing when your phone locks, and you can play and pause from the lock screen or your headphones. If you read words or music along on screen, turn on Keep the screen on while a song plays under Me. Leave it off to save battery.
